Clane Counselling Services
Clane Counselling & Hypnotherapy is one of the oldest established counselling services in Co. Kildare and West Dublin. The practise was founded in 1989 by Anne Ahern M.I.A.C.P., M.I.C. (Scotland), M.H.I.C. Pat McEvoy joined the team in 1999.
This company has gone from strength to strength over the past 20 years and continues to do so.
Clane Counselling & Hypnotherapy provides a wide range services for both Relationships and Individuals.
We also offer a service for Children and Teenagers.
We get enormous satisfaction from helping clients overcome problems that seemed impossible to deal with when they first make an appointment with us.

There is a great team spirit in our clinic. Our counsellors have great experience dealing with all kinds of issues. The first call can be the most difficult to make. We understand that and we are here to help you in a very caring environment.
Anne Ahern
Counsellor, Psychotherapist & Hypnotherapist, Anne started her training in Addiction Counselling in Stanhope Street Training Centre in the 1970’s.
She graduated from NUI Maynooth with a Diploma in Counselling in 1989 and later that year founded Clane Counselling & Hypnotherapy.
Anne is an accredited member of the I.A.C.P. since 1992. She has a Diploma in Clinical Counselling in Scotland having become a member in 1991.
Pat McEvoy
Pat is a qualified Counsellor, Life Coach and Mediator with 20 years’ experience in private practise.
Pat graduated from Maynooth University with a Diploma in Counselling in 1998, before obtaining his Accredited Training Certificate as a Mediator from the Mediators Institute of Ireland in 1999. He qualified as a Neuro Linguistic Practitioner and Timeline Therapist in 2005. He furthered his studies in 2007 when he graduated from the National College of Ireland with a Diploma in Life and Business Coaching. He has also further training in Addiction and Relationship Counselling.
Pat is a Tutor with the GAA in delivering Child Safegaurding Courses and in training Chidrens Officers. These courses are certified by the Irish Sports Council.
Pat is an affiliate member of the I.A.C.P. and an accredited member of the E.C.I.
